Does anyone have a Jarrard/Jarrett Patterson listed with their ancestors? He was born abt. 1798. There is a Jarrett Patterson listed in the 1800 tax list of Bedford County, VA., and there is a Jarrard Patterson listed in the 1850 census of Pittsylvania County, VA. This is probably my Jarrard Patterson, although Jarrett Patterson, Bedford, VA, could be a relative.... perhaps father even. My Jarrard of Pittsylvania County, married a Rhoda.... possibly Rhoda Terry of Pittsylvania. Their children were: Willis Huntas, b. 1822, Martha, b. 1825, William H., b. bet 1827-1830 and John, b. 1831. These are the only children that I know of as yet. I'm sure there are others. Jarrard died after 1850. My Willis Huntas Patterson, married Ann J. Evans, 1842, Pittsylvania County, and all of their children were born there. Mary C, William H., Willis H., Jr., Rhoda Ann, John Thomas, Martha Terry, Lucy F., Josiah Davis, and Sarah. Do any of these names look familiar? Would love to conn!
