Hi all,
This is a great idea Alan. But I hope those of you who have (even
transcripts of ) original documents, would also consider posting these to
the usgenweb archives sites. They have one for each state. It is a great
help to families who do not know a whole lot about the families other than
where they came from. Plus genweb has search engines that can find names of
people who are included in any documents that are posted.
I figure the more places these documents are posted, the better the chance
of someone finding what they need.
