Looking for information on the family of Thomas S. PATTERSON, b 1818 TN.
Thomas and his wife, Permelia REEVES, had James, Marcellous, Joel, Theodore,
and Permelia.

I first find Thomas in Green Co, AL w/o any family nearby. After marrying
Permelia, they resided in Green Co, then moved to Pontotoc Co, MS. Thomas
was killed during the civil war. Around 1894 his widow accompanied their
children to Comanche Co, TX.

A DAR application written in 1924 states that Thomas was the son of Jim
Patterson and Nancy Simpson and the grandson of William Patterson (1762
Rowan Co, NC - 1804 Franklin Co, TN) and Elizabeth Brown. I have not been
able to verify this information.

Anybody missing a brother or a cousin out there ?
