This is what I attempted to send. Sorry for the big mess as I hate to get it myself.

I found a Nathaniel Patterson just over the line of Chester/Lancaster(actually closer to
York/Lancaster) in what is now either Frederick or Carroll or Cecil Co MD. Since I live in
California it is hard to tell exactly what county. There is a couple of old Presbyterian
Cemeteries. One is Toms Creek Presb. Cemetery near Emmitsburg. The other is Piney Creek
Presb. near Taneytown. Nathaniel m Catherine Myerheoffer in 1813. I believe the
Myerhoeffers were Lutheran, but haven't found burials for Catherine. Nathaniel, I believe
is buried in Piney Creek. Haven't looked in a while and you can find Piney Creek cemetery
in the rootsweb archives by using key words much quicker than I can find it tonight. The
Piney Creek cemetery listing says that there are six generations of Pattersons there.
William was the immigrant ancestor in this family. I believe they are part of mine, but
haven't found the definitive proof yet. I am looking now for land records for all of these
counties. I found most of this in a CD FTM #184, Family History: Colonial Families of
Maryland, 1600s-1900s. There are a number of Winchesters there, but none with Patterson.
Badder is spelled Bader and no Wilhemina. Couple of those. I am in class this next week
(computers) and finding it very tiring. Where was the will of Nathaniel found? I have
several Patterson wills from this area and time, but none with these names. HTH.
