Looking for information on John Patterson, only child of Carl Jackson
Patterson (1890 AL - ? CA) and Stella Burdeshaw Patterson. He was at one
time living in California and had "something to do with the theater,"
according to my mother, who is his first cousin. Then he may have moved
to NYC.

There are several John Pattersons involved in the movie industry,
according to the credits listed online for various films, but I don't
know if any of these are the one I'm looking for.

Carl Jackson Patterson was the son of Andrew Elijah Patterson and Sarah
Ella Berry Patterson of Fayette Co. AL. Carl was educated at the Baptist
Collegiate Institute in Newton, Dale Co., AL and then farmed for many
years in GA. When he and Stella decided to retire from farming they
moved to a retirement community in CA, probably near where John was at
the time.
