Hello Nancy. Here is the response I had planned to send you personally, but
the mail came back to me.

Thank you so much. I have seen census records that lead me to believe that
the name of William's mother may have been Mary (though the year born was
listed as 1790, but you never know). I will have to look into this more. Too
bad this obit didn't list her children, but it is something to look into by
all means, along with the name of the Patterson she first married. I will
keep in touch and if anything develops, I will let you know. Thank you once
again, this may be more important than you know.
