I'm rummaging around Ireland trying to get info on Patterson's. If you
have any, I'd like to hear from you.
In the meantime, just got this little tidbit and am sharing in case it
helps.
Buckna Pres. Church, Co. Antrim
Baptisms of children of William James Patterson and Martha Brownlees,
Kilnacolpagh:
28 June 1854 - William, father a farmer;
21 Apr 1856 - Jenny, father a weaver.
there's also a citation from the Rev. Hamilton of Bucka Presby. who
wrote in 1857.
"William James Patterson & wife - 2 ch. under roof with Jas Hamill
& a tenant of David Kelly. She dau. of James Brownlees. Entered for
marriage the 7th Sept 1853."
I'm also following the Brownlee line in Co. Antrim so I was glad to hear
of another connection between these two families.
Bette
