I am researching my GGgrandfather James D. PATTERSON he was born in Lower Merion, PA about 1844,served in the cavalry during the civil War. He married Sarah (Sallie) J. Bennett in Philadelphia Sep 1,1866. They had five children Ida F., Rachel, Luther Ward, Silas W., and Sallie. Anyone looking for this line.
