The Rural Reflections of Amwell Township, Washington Co. PA are 4 =
volumes approx. 200 pgs each of extensive history of the township from =
its beginning through the late 1970s. There is also Indian history from =
the pre-settler days. There are tax lists from 1781, 1791, 1790 Wash =
Co. Census, 1800 & 1850 Amwell Twp. census, land patents, family =
histories of early settlers, town histories, church histories, cemetery =
listings for all cemeteries in Amwell Twp., military service, landmarks, =
early business directories from 1876, occupations list, etc. The books =
are very well-done. They can be purchased for $35 at:
