MRS. JOHN MYERS, OF
COON ISLAND, IS DEAD

CLAYSVILLE, March 6.--Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Dinch Myer[s], aged 78 years,
widow of Mrs. [sic] John Myers, died in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ocie
Clemens, of Coon Island, today at 3:30 p. m. after an illness of over a month.

A daughter of Henry and Margaret Crupe Dinch, she was born March 23,
1857, and spent her entire life in Washington County. She lived near West
Finley until the death of her husband 16 years ago and for the past three
years had made her home at Coon Island.

She leaves five sons and five daughters: Albert, of Avella; Martin and
Elmer, of West Alexander, and Jess and John, of Bethany, W. Va.; Mrs. Mary
Allen, of Washington; Mrs. Sophia Alexander, of Claysville; Mrs. Sarah Gray,
of West Finley; Mr.s Pearl Kemp, of Bethany, and Mrs. Ocie Clemens, of Coon
Island.

Two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Hutton, of Burgettstown, and Mrs. Melissa Clark,
of Taylorstown, and three Brothers, William, of Meadowlands; George, of
Avella, and John, of Taylorstown, also survive. There are 32 grandchildren
and 19 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the late home Friday at 2 p. m. in
charge of Rev. Harrison Davidson, pastor of the Windy gap Presbyterian church.
Burial will be in the West Finley Cemetery.
