HOSEA V. BARRETT

Hosea V. Barrett, 71, East Wheeling street, died this morning at 3:30
o'clock, following an illness of 18 months. He was born in Bradford County,
and had lived in Washington for the past 40 years. He was a painter by trade.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Clara Allen Barrett, and two daughters,
Lilian and Genevieve, at home; three sons, Walter, ridge avenue; Arthur,
Spruce street, and Harold, Washington, R. D. 5; and eight grandchildren. Also
two sister, Mrs. Albert Dunning, Washington and Mrs. Warren Shaler, MacDonald;
and two brothers, Virgil, Bradford andUlysses, California State.

BARRETT--Friends of Hosea V. Barrett, who died this morning at 3:30 o'clock,
will be received at the Bebout and McNary Funeral Home from where private
funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of
the Rev. David Morris, pastor of the Allison Avenue Baptist Church. Burial
will be in Washington Cemetery.
