Mrs. Anna R. Amos, 71,
Native of Majorsville,
Dies in McDonald Home

McDONALD, April 14--Mrs. Anna R. Amos, aged 71 years, of Arabella street,
McDonald, died at 9:45 p. m. Friday, April 12, in a Pittsburgh hospital, after
an illness of four weeks.

Mrs. Amos, a daughter of John and Martha Crupe, was born March 28, 1864,
in Washington County, near Majorsville, W. Va. On July 4, 1895, she was
married to Samuel Amos, who died in 1898. She was a member of the Baptist
Church at Majorsville, W. Va. and only recently moved to McDonald.

She leaves a son, Calvin Amos, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Martha Crow, of
near Avella; a sister, Miss Martha Crupe, of Noblestown, and a brother, Edward
Crupe, of Valley Grove, W. Va.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday, in the West
Alexander Methodist Episcopal Church. Burial will be in the West Alexander
Cemetery.
