Many thanks to the Cole's for the detailed Tarr info --it was just what I'd
been searching for everywhere. I can add some info on another line from one
of those eleven children.

THOMAS JEFFERSON TARR(son of Thomas McKeever Tarr & Esther Bradley)
1. unknown 1st wife -
A) had daughter Phoebe Tarr who married Joseph Jenkins
children Roy (mar Isabelle Saint = daughter Phoebe Joy)
Caroline Jenkins - unmarried
B) had daughterMinnie (mar ___Jordan)
2. married MATILDA WALTER of Washington or Allegheny Co, PA
A) had daughter ESTHER BRADLEY TARR b 1893 d 7/1955
--had son George Tarr b Mar 24, 1913 d Feb, 1979
--Esther married GEORGE ALEXANDER CROWE (b 9/6/1892 d 1938)
on10/25/1921
--had son ALBERT NOAH JEFFERSON CROWE (later dropped
the Jefferson to conform to SS res) b 3/24/1922 d8/6/1996
(yes, same month & day as
step-brother)
--Albert mar Lillian Marie Novak (b 2/18/1925)
children: Sandra, Bradley, Lloyd, & Mary Joyce
B) son WALTER J. TARR b 2/19/1900 d 3/1981
--mar Helen Bedialian Orr: children Walter, James & Judith

My dad mentioned a "Tarr Blast Furnace" located somewhere bt Washington &
Wheeling that was connected to the family, but knew no details. I've found
there are Tarr's still living in Allegheny Co PA but don't know the
connections.
