On the subject of PA birth certificates -- I have six.
It's interesting that the two issued in 1989 for births in Feb and Sept 1913
are different -- one carries the minimum name, sex, county and DOB while the
second adds the parents' names and ages.
One issued in 1973 has all but the parents' ages, one issued in 1982 have
everything. One issued in 1952 has the bare minimum and does not give the
sex. The last issued in 1987 does give the sex but no parents' names or
ages.
I know that I ordered two of these myself, one requesting the certificate
for genealogy purposes and got the full one, the other for passport and got
the minimum. I believe I paid the same for each one. Tis a puzzlement!
