Well, I might as well jump in------here in the midwest we drink pop.
When I was on the east coast a couple of years ago, I asked a waiter
what kind of pop he had and he burst out laughing! He finally said that
they called it soda and he told me the kinds. (Can't imagine why anyone
would want to drink soda unless they have an upset stomach)

We also go 'up the street' and have little 'cricks' running out back of
the house!
