Hello List,

Does anyone have any more information about the Brier Hill Mine near
McDonald? It was opened in 1870 by J.D. Saunders Co., W.P Rend owned the
coal crusher. The mine was bought by Pa Coal Co. in 1899 and closed it in
1925. i think my gr-grandfather, Samuel Harry SLOAN may have worked there.
