Hello,

I am searching for information on my ancestors in Southwestern PA from the
post Rev War period through c1840.

Robert HILL c1745 VA - 1820 Prob. Morris Twp., Greene Co PA. Married to
Priscilla BOWEN c1755 VA - 1824 Prob. Greene Co., PA. Came to what became SW
PA c1780s. He was son of Johnson & Naomi (Smith) Hill based upon published
bio info of Robert's son Rees Hill. She was the daughter of Henry & Anna
(Moon) Bowen.
Children of Robert & Priscilla include: Johnson Hill (= Phoebe Rush),
Jacob Hill (= Elizabeth Lewis), Amy / Mary Hill (= Daniel Heaton), Rees Hill
(= Nancy Heaton & then Louise Abbot), Nancy Hill, Henry Hill (= Nancy SUTTON).
So far I have identified what appear to be 3 different Robert Hills that
were in SW PA at this same time. Would like assistance in sorting them out.
There seems to be some discrepancy in published sources relating to a Robert
Hill who served in Abner's company 1781 - 1782.

My ancestry is through Henry & "Elcy" Sutton Hill. Henry paid tax on land in
Morris Twp., Greene Co until late 1830s. Have not found marriage
documentation this marriage. Elcy's last name based upon family tradition.
Have not been able to link her with any of the Sutton families of SW PA.

I would like to compare notes with other researchers of these families,
