Victor Biedrycki, 74, of Adamsburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in the
Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was born Nov. 22, 1925, in
McKeesport. He was a retired employee of American St. Gobain, Jeannette, and
a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a
life member of American Legion Post 472, Manor, and a member of VFW Post 781,
Irwin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,
Esther McCauley Biedrycki. He is survived by two sons, Victor E. Biedrycki of
Manor and Robert W. Biedrycki of Adamsburg; a daughter, Victoria Lynn
Dougherty, of Westmoreland City; and three grandchildren, Tabitha Lynn
Dougherty, Heather Lynn Dougherty and Damian Ronald Biedrycki. Friends will
be received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Thursday
from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will
be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in
Brush Creek Cemetery, Hempfield Township.

Karl B. Christie, M.D., 77, of Mt. Lebanon, on Monday, Oct. 9, 2000. Beloved
husband of Jean. Loving father of Patricia (Michael) Border of Massachusetts,
Susan C. (Paul) Martin of Bethel Park, James K. Christie of Scott Township
and Nancy (Albert) Banisch of California. Loving grandfather of Patrick and
Daniel Border, Joseph and Elisabeth Banisch and Julie Martin. Brother of
Dorothy Christie Scott, M.D., of Laughlintown and Herta Douden of Padre
Island, Texas. Visitation Thursday 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9

John Fullman
Formerly of Southwest
John Fullman, 82, formerly of Southwest, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in
Westmoreland Manor, Hempfield Township. He was born April 21, 1918, in
Slickville, a son of the late Charles and Mary Lautack Fullman. Prior to his
retirement, he worked for the Crescent Hills Coal Co. Inc., Dickerson
Construction and Bethlehem Steel Corp. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by his wife, Ann Trach Fullman, in 1972. He was a member of
St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church of Trauger. He was a World War II
veteran, having served in the U.S. Army, and a lifetime member of the Hecla
Sportsmen's Club. He is survived by four children, Kathleen Bossick and her
husband, Joseph, of Southwest, James Fullman and his wife, Donna, also of
Southwest, JoAnn Ballew and her husband, Craig, of Ray City, Ga., and Janet
Palmer and her husband, Ronald, of Greensburg; seven grandchildren, James
Fullman and his wife, Jennifer, Casey Palmer, Christopher Fullman, Veronica
Palmer, Nikki Ballew, Cody Fullman and Myranda Ballew; the following brothers
and sisters: Marie Waugaman of Houston, Texas, Chuck Fullman and his wife,
Irene, of Mt. Pleasant, Mike Fullman and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Scottdale,
Ethel Hess of Uniontown, Paul Fullman and Eva Fullman, both of Ruffsdale, and
Ann Vindich and her husband, Mike, of Perryopolis; and several nieces and
nephews. Friends will be received at the JAY A. HOFFER FUNERAL HOME, Norvelt,
Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Panachida service will be held in the
funeral home Saturday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Divine Liturgy to be
celebrated at 10 a.m. in the St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church with the
Rev. Christopher R. Burke as celebrant. Interment will follow in the St.
Mary's Cemetery, Trauger. A Parastas service will be held in the funeral home
Friday at 7:30 p.m. Military service will be accorded by American Legion Post

Trafford
Joseph P. Grande, 77, of Trafford, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in Forbes
Regional Health Center, Monroeville. He was born Oct. 26, 1922, in Trafford,
a son of Patsy and Teresa Rosella Grande. Prior to retirement, he was owner
of Grande's Bar in Trafford. He was a member of St. Regis Church and served
with the U.S. Army during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by his wife, Martha Rogachesky Grande; and a brother,
Dominic Grande. Surviving are his daughter, Paula Comito, of Manor; brothers,
Tony of Trafford, Carman of Trafford and Francis Grande of Greensburg; and a
sister, Gloria Drost, of Trafford. Also survived by two grandchildren, Jay
and Cara Comito. Friends will be received at the DAVID A. RITTER FUNERAL
HOME, 220 Edgewood Ave., Trafford, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A
blessing service will be held Friday in the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. with
Father Louis Cheatham officiating.

Mary G. Granatir Hrapchak, 90, of North Versailles, died Wednesday, Oct. 11,
2000, at home. She was born Aug. 8, 1910, in Braddock, a daughter of the late
Andrew and Suzzie Pastirik Granatir. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses,
White Oak Kingdom Hall, for 54 years. Besides her parents, she also was
preceded in death by her husband, John Hrapchak; two brothers, John R. and
Andrew Granatir; and two sisters, Susie Granatir and Anna Ondick. She is
survived by a niece, Connie Closky, of Upper St. Clair. Friends will be
received at the FORGIE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport,
Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral
services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will
follow at Grandview Cemetery.

Mae Boyle McCune, 94, of Greensburg, formerly of Ruffsdale RD1, died
Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at the Hempfield Manor, Hempfield Township. Born
May 20, 1906, in Hunker, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Bess
Brothers Miller. She was a member of the Madison Hilltop United Methodist
Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first
husband, Frank Boyle; her second husband, Hays McCune; a daughter, Patricia
Ann King; two grandsons, James A. Boyle Jr. and Timothy King; three brothers,
George, Charles and Paul Miller; and two sisters, Alice Roach and Evalene
Burrell. Surviving are a son, James A. Boyle Sr. and his wife, Louise, of
Greensburg; two daughters, Jean Sheppard of Scottdale and Connie Sechrist of
New Stanton; a son-in-law, James King, of Ruffsdale RD1; four grandchildren,
Lon Sheppard and his wife, Ginny, Lyn Sheppard, Lori Janiro and her husband,
Bill, and Kimberly King; and three great-grandchildren, Brad and Kaley Janiro
and Danny Sheppard. Friends will be received at the BEATTY-RICH FUNERAL HOME
INC., Route 136, Madison, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will
be held in the funeral home Friday at 11 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev.
Lawrence Raughley, officiating. Interment will follow in the Westmoreland
County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Patty Jane Johnston Moore, 55, of Penn, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, in the
Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. She was born Aug. 14, 1945, in
McKeesport, a daughter of Orville ``Corky'' and Josephine Simeral Johnston of
Wendel. She was a member and employed by the Wendel Herminie Athletic
Association and a member of the West Hempfield American Legion. In addition
to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Paul Moore; a daughter, Lorri
Kruel, of North Huntingdon; three sons, Vincent Kruel of Irwin, Stanley
``Sonny'' Kruel Jr. of Penn and Keith Kruel of Wendel; five grandchildren,
Billy, Brittany, Kristin, Brinna and Adelia; a sister, Audrey McIntosh of
Jeannette; two brothers, Larry Johnston of Florida and Jimmie Johnston of
Wendel; four nephews; a niece; and many friends. Friends will be received at
the JOSEPH F. OTT FUNERAL HOME INC., 504 Oak St., Irwin, Thursday from 7 to 9
p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held

William P. ``Willie'' Romansky, 89, of Wilmerding, died Tuesday, Oct. 10,
2000. Mr. Romansky was the owner of the former Villa Capri Restaurant. He was
a son of the late Michael and Catherine (Sikanec) Romansky; beloved husband
of 57 years of Teresa (Tardio) Romansky; loving father of Paula A. Doebler
and her husband, Dr. Robert W. Doebler; dear grandfather of Stefanie A. and
Matthew R. Doebler; brother of Peter (Ethel) Romansky, Evelyn Garrick and the
late John and Nicholas Romansky and Annie Goody. He also is survived by
numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in ALFIERI FUNERAL HOME INC.,
201 Marguerite Ave., Wilmerding, where services will be held at 10 a.m.

Greensburg Nursing and Convalescent Center. She was born April 9, 1931, in
Youngwood, a daughter of the late Edward and Sarah J. Burns Cohen. She was
retired from Westmoreland Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents, she
was preceded in death by a sister, Ceil Zahratka; a brother, Richard Cohen;
and her best friend and companion, Gizzmo. She is survived by a daughter,
Laura J. Simpson, of Indiana; a son, G. Elmer Kuhns, of Herminie; three
brothers, Ronald L. Cohen Sr. and wife, Elizabeth, and Robert L. Cohen Sr.
and wife, Diane, all of York, Pa., and Edward H. Cohen and wife, Cheryl, of
Florida; a sister, Leatrice B. Waugaman and husband, Daniel, of Greensburg;
five grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.

Eleanor L. Rummell, 77, of Hostetter, died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2000, at
Latrobe Area Hospital. She was born July 29, 1923, in Hostetter, a daughter
of the late John V. and Elizabeth (Goodman) Hambersky. She was a member of
the Bethany United Methodist Church, Latrobe, and the Degree of Honor
Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her
husband, Arthur C. ``Dick'' Rummell; an infant son; and a grandson, C. Brian
Schwartz. She is survived by her son, Barry W. Rummell and wife, Annette, of
Hostetter; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her brother, Eugene
G. Hambersky, of Hostetter; a niece, Denise King; and a nephew, Allen
Hambersky. Friends will be received at the GAUT-BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC.,
Pleasant Unity, Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be
held in the Bethany United Methodist Church, Latrobe, Saturday at 11 a.m.

Eileen Kelly Steinbruegge, of Murrysville, died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in the
St. Francis Medical Center, Pittsburgh. She was born in Pittsburgh, the
daughter of the late Thomas Aquinas and Sophie Kochendorfer Kelly. She was a
member of the First United Methodist Church of Murrysville and a life member
of Murrysville Medic One. She was very active in the Women's Aglow Fellowship
and also very active in a Bible study in her home for over 20 years. She is
survived by her husband, Kenneth B. Steinbruegge; a daughter, Terri Lynn
Steinbruegge, of Murrysville; and two sons, Steven Brian, a student at Penn
State, Altoona, and Craig Allen and his wife, Shannon, of North Huntingdon.
Visitation with the family Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 9 to 10 a.m. at the First
United Methodist Church of Murrysville, followed by a service at 10 a.m. with
the Rev. Mary Grey Emmett officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson
Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills. If desired, memorials may be made to the First
United Methodist Church, Murrysville, or Young Life of Steel Valley, 908 Ann
St., Homestead, PA 15120.

Elizabeth F. Stewart, 82, of Raritan Township, N.J., formerly of Pittsburgh,
died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000, in Hunterdon Care Center, Raritan Township,
N.J. Born in Woodstock, Ga., Dec. 26, 1917, she was a daughter of the late
Albert T. and Bertha Chastain Fowler. She formerly had resided in Pittsburgh
for 42 years before moving to Raritan Township two years ago. She was a
homemaker and was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church of
Pittsburgh and the Southern Social Club of Pittsburgh. Her husband, Fred G.
Stewart, died in 1977. Surviving are two daughters, Patricia S. Pickard of
Raritan Township, N.J., and Elizabeth C. Roland of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; a
brother, Howard Fowler, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in Christ United
Methodist Church, Pittsburgh. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements
are under the direction of the HOLCOMBE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME, 147 Main St.,
Flemington, N.J.

John Melvin Wallace; beloved mother of Elizabeth Vansickle of Clairton, Irene
Anselm of North Huntingdon and Patricia Mollenauer of Champion, Ohio; sister
of Glenn Farber and wife, Doris, of Jefferson Borough and Ruth Farber Hood of
Jefferson Borough; and daughter of the late Elgie Clyde and Jean (Minford)
Farber. Also survived by five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 9 p.m. at the
JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills,
