Art, The Millers & Zooks both marry into my many German Brethren families of
Washington Co., PA. I have some Millers w/ the names you're looking for but
they were later. The earliest Miller I have in Washington Co., PA was Mary
Magdalene Miller b. 4/11/1765 & married 1783 Washington Co., PA to Johann
Peter Wise. They moved after 1810 to Stark Co.,OH. Wish I could be of more
help. Cindy

> Looking for any info/connections to several Millers that show up in West
Bethlehem Twp. starting in 1781:
> >William Miller on tax lists starting in 1781 with 75 acres. He died in
1802 naming only son Isaac and wife Elizabeth. I am pretty sure he had a
son named Jacob who migrated to Nelson Co., Ky. about 1800. This Jacob b.
1765 and married Elizabeth Hill, d/o Joseph Hill of Washington Co., Pa.
> >Isaac Miller on tax lists starting 1784 with 150 acres but gone after
1784. Perhaps he is the one who purchased tract on Chartiers Creek on
Georges Run from John Redmon in 1784. The deed shows his being from
Westmoreland Co. I believe this Isaac Miller had a son named John b. about
1754 and married Katherina Zook d/o Peter Zug about 1779.
> >Christian on tax rolls starting 1781 with 50 acres but gone after 1785.
> >David Miller on tax rolls starting 1788 but gone after 1794. I have
determined that this David is my ggggrandfather who came to Nelson Co., Ky.
in 1796. He married Deborah Zook (d/o Peter Zug) probably about 1770. David
obtained a warrant for 95 acres in 1789 in West Bethlehem---it appears that
this property ended up with the above William Miller who sold it to his son
Isaac in 1797 and he in turn obtained a patent in 1804.
> I am trying to determine how this William, Isaac and Christian tie into my
David Miller. It would appear that William and Isaac are either his
brothers or cousins.
