Hello friends,
On November 10, 2001, Sara Naomi Hayward Boyd Sullivan Passed to her reward. At the public viewing we opened a Bible to her chosen passage,
Psalms 116:15, "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints."

Sara N. Boyd Sullivan, 93, of McKeesport died Saturday. Employed with her husband, the late David A. Boyd at Boyd's Pharmacy, she assisted him at the Allegheny County Pharmaceutical Association, was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons and was a member and deaconess at Park Baptist Church for over 60 years and a member of its choir.
Born in Monongahela, July 18, 1908, she was the daughter of the late Perry and Della Louttit Haywood and the wife of the late David A. Boyd and Edward Sullivan. She is survived by daughters, Sandra Anderson and Ruth Perret of Elizabeth Twp.; son, David A. Boyd Jr. of Greenville, S.C.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; brother, Clarence Haywood of Monongahela; nieces and nephews.
Friends are being received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Drew J. Gilbert Funeral Home, Inc., Boston, Elizabeth Twp. Service will be conducted in the chapel there tomorrow at 10 a.m. by the Rev. Charles R. Hambel. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, McKeesport.
