By 1889 when "The Presbytery of Washngton" went to press in Philadelphia many of those churches listed in the original list of the Redstone Presby were not included in the Washington Co. sketches. Some of the churches that were a part of the Washington Presbytery did not respond to the Committee. The index does not include actual members of each church - only the ministers, elders, deacons, the young men who went from his home church to the ministry, and those young men and women who became missionaries. All reports to the Committee differ.....some include many words and then there are some of few words and are of no help to anyone. Crumrine included most of the ministers, elders and deacons in his History of Washington Co. I am sharing what he didn't get to.
