Subject: [WASH] Loosing Address Book on Aol
Date: Sun, 7 Sep 2003 00:44:59 EDT
(I found out recently from my step daughter that with the newer version
of AOL, emails are blocked by AOL to a sender, if the address is not in
there address book. Presents a problem when one does not have a copy of
all the addresses they had in their address book and their computer
crashes.
Midge)
Hi Midge,
The others are right about AOL blocking any email we wish to block. We can
choose what we don't want, or want to get. I have gotten every one of my mailing
lists during the recent virus outbreak.
As for loosing your address book, or your favorites in the sad case of a
computer crash, AOL saves both of these for you by "default" and when you do get
up and running again, all you have to do is reinstall AOL as a "current member"
and all of your favorites and address book is there waiting for you when you
connect. Hope this helps ease your mind a little:)
