Wylandville had many derivatives of the name. It has been called Wyland,
Wyland Station, Wyland Village, Wylandville. At one time, it had 2 stores:
J. B. McClure and Son; and J. H. Laird. Before the RR station was erected,
Pease Mill stood at that location.
It is my understanding that Wyland Village and Wylandville are one in the
same. I lived about a mile from the site for about 10 years.
