Hello List,

You are always so great with answering questions. I want to thank those of
you who emailed me and who also answered on the list. Becky, Pat, Dee,
Christina and Amie were very helpful so a big thanks goes to you all.

My reason for asking if the nickname for Amelia might be Annie was that I
was trying to think "out of the box" with an over 30 year search by 5 direct
descendants and one interested Howe possible cousin. We have search every
nook and cranny via courthouses, churches, obits, etc.etc. to learn the
parentage of one Hulda Anne Howe b. 1835-1845; d. March 1883,Washington Co.,
PA. married # 1 Robert Roley and #2 Peter Shevlin. We have never been able
to find the name Hulda or Annie with parents in the 1850 or the 1860 PA
Census. The 1850 Washington Co. Census with an Amelia H seemed like a
possible break through clue.

Since I do have the Census information, I will post it in another email so
that it may help someone on the list. As for my search, Amelia H. Howe
seems like an extreme long shot.

If I can ever help any of you with Illinois info, please email me.
