Looking for the parents of David White, steamboat engineer, who was born in
Washington County, PA c 1838 died 1900 at age 62.
He married, first Clara Claiborne who died Dec 1863, and second Mary
Langston.
According to his obituary, he came to Louisiana as a child, went to work on
the Mississippi River as a young man and was still working at the time of his
death in 1900.
Any help appreciated.
