WELLS, SWEENEY, IRWIN, CROSSON
On the 10th inst., at her home north of town Mrs. WELLS, aged 47 years.
Deceased was an estimable colored lady who had been ill a long time. One
son is left, Michael WELLS. Services were conducted Sunday by Rev. Mr.
WALDER of the Baptist church. Interment at Hilldale cemetery.
On the 9th, at Pittsburg, of typhoid-pneumonia, Miss Margate Ellen SWEENEY,
aged about 32 years.
Deceased was a member of the L. C. B. A., and carried $1,000 insurance.
Services at St. Patrick's church, Pittsburg, Monday; interment at
Noblestown.
On the 8th inst., at the home of his sister, Mrs. STOCKS, of Steubenville,
Jr. James IRWIN, of near Eldersville, aged 35 years. Funeral services on
Saturday; interment at Bethel cemetery.
James S. CROSSON, a well-known Canonsburg tinner, died at the West Penn
Hospital Monday. He was 63 years old.
