1816 ABRAHAM STOVER Family HOLY BIBLE Huge Volume! NR!  


The description says::
Huge family Bible for one Abraham Stover, Pennsylvania. Condition? Front
board is all but detached... it is hanging on by one thread.. the front free page
and map are detatched as well.. the remainder of all pages bound nicely. Text
is toned from time... if you notice in my pictures five pictures seem rather
yellow... my camera did this to those five pictures and the color is uniform
with the bulk of the pictures shown. In lieu of describing further the condition
I opted to take many pics to hopefully illustrate better than I can describe.
The torn piece of paper with the elaborate writing states this is Abraham
Stovers book. Fantastic entries with a lot of family history... one entry for a
death I founf particularily poignant concerns an Isaac Stover who dies at Key
West Florida Sept 3rd 1862 of Yellow Fever taken on the Frigate Lawrence....
prompted to leave his home to fight for the Union. I took a lot of closeups of
these pages for those that are interested in the family part of the Bible. No
