Hi Geni Friends,

Would there be anyone able to check for me on a WILLIAM HUSTON, for date of
his birth & death?
I have him born: ? Aug. 1838 in Washington, Pa. and died: bef. 1936 in
Washington, Pa.
Buried: Washington Cemetery in The Veterans Section. He served in the 1st
W. VA. Cavalry 1861 - 1864 Also would like to know if his middle name started
with a P or L, better yet what was his middle name?
He was married to ELIZA HURLEY. I have an obit. for her from the Washington
Observer for November 13, 1913.

Mrs. Eliza Houston, aged 68 years, died yesterday afternoon shortly after 4
o'clock at her home near the Old Shaft mine in South Strabane township. She
had been ill for several months, death being caused by a complication of
diseases. Her husband died several years ago. She leaves the following
children:
John W. and Albert Houston, at home; Mrs. William Holmes, of Manifold; Mrs.
Lizzie McCartney and Mrs. Viola Moore, who also reside in South Strabane
township near the home, and Mrs. Emma Campbell, of Washington. The funeral
services
will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev.
George C. Sheppard. The interment will be at Cannonsburg.

Her obituary does not have the names of her parents or her husband, that
would have helped if they had given that information. Would anyone have a clue
to the first name of her daughter Mrs. William Holmes ?

Thanks in advance,

CARPE DIEM~~~~~
