Clarence L. ``Jeff'' Brick, 85, of Ruffsdale, died Saturday, July 22, 2000,
at Westmoreland Manor. He was born Feb. 17, 1915, in Bedford, a son of the
late Albert and Cora Lowery Brick.
He is survived by two sons, Nevin A. Brick and his wife, Cathy, of Leroy,
N.Y,. and William C. Brick of Ruffsdale;In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by his wife, Emma Catherine Leighty Brick, in 1985; two
brothers, Don and Eugene Brick; and three sisters, Lenore Edwards, Olive
Blobner and Marian ``Sis'' Beckinger
Theresa D. 'Daisy' (Rossetti) Carfagna
Formerly of Trafford
Theresa D. ``Daisy'' (Rossetti) Carfagna, a resident of the L.G.A.R. Home,
Turtle Creek, formerly of Trafford, on Saturday, July 22, 2000. Wife of the
late Paul. Mother of the late infant Mary. Aunt of Regina Zezza of Forest
Hills, and many other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers and
sisters, August, Falco, Carl and Jimmy Rossetti.
Robert James Chapman
Robert James Chapman, 56, of Smithton, died Monday, July 24, 2000, at his
home. Born in Rostraver Township, Nov. 16, 1943, he was a son of the late
Ella Mae (Foster) Chapman. He is survived by his wife, Dessia Lewis Chapman;
two sons and a daughter.

Frank Lee Conn, 48, of Pittsburgh, died Friday, July 21, 2000, in his home.
Born July 10, 1952 in Connellsville, Pa., he was the son of Cameron L. Conn
and Evelyn Blaney Conn. He is survived by his wife, Marie E. Main; two sons,
Andrew F. M. Conn and Cameron L. Conn; one daughter, Jennie C. Conn; five

George ``Punkin'' Crouse, 76, of Latrobe, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at
Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born Feb. 17, 1924, in Whitney, a son of the
late Philip and Catherine Hryckovian Crouse. In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his fiancee, Lillian Fry; a sister, Rose Cable; and three
brothers, Paul, John and Michael Crouse. Survived by a son, Gervase S. Crouse
and his wife, Laraine, of Greensburg; a daughter, Paulette David of Latrobe;
a brother, Thomas Crouse and his wife, Carole, of Youngwood; three sisters,
Helen Albright and Ann Balko, both of Latrobe, and Mary Woytus of Greensburg;

Mildred J. Dietz, 89, of Greensburg, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, in the
Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Oct. 17, 1910, in
Greensburg, a daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Greene Johnston. In
addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gerald E. Dietz;

Juanita M. ``Dee'' (Minnich) Dowling, 68, of North Ridgeville, Ohio, died
Monday, July 24, 2000, at the North Ridge Health Care Center, North
Ridgeville, following a long illness. She was born in Chambersburg and lived
in Herminie,prior to moving to North Ridgeville in 1977.She is survived by

Kennard R. Eberts Sr.
Kennard R. ``Pete'' Eberts Sr., 67, of Penn Township, died Sunday, July 23,
2000, in his home. He was born Nov. 23, 1932, in Greensburg, a son of the
late Raymond E. and Rose Kohosek Eberts. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Eberts; and a sister, Rose Mae LeRoy.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruth A. Turk Eberts; a son,two
daughters,three brothers and three sisters.

Ruth I. Edgecombe, 81, of Ross, died Saturday, July 22, 2000 in Sherwood
Oaks, Cranberry. She was born October 21, 1918 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the
late Chauncey E. Hughes and Ruth E. Ogilvie. She is survived by one son,
Wallace E. Edgecombe, Jr., and his wife Ellen B. of McCandless; one grandson,
John E. Edgecombe; she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace E.
Edgecombe Sr., and a brother, William Hughes.
Gertrude E. 'Gert' Gamble
Gertrude E. ``Gert'' Gamble, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Oakdale, died
suddenly Sunday, July 23, 2000. Wife of the late J. Dale Gamble. Beloved
mother of Ronald ``Huck,'' John D., Michael M. and William D. Gamble. Also
survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

William F. Halbleib, 55, of North Huntingdon, died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at
his home. He was born June 14, 1945, in Pittsburgh, a son of Frances Anderson
Halbleib of Homestead and the late William Halbleib. In addition to his
mother, he is survived by his wife, Marcia Kerrigan Halbleib; two sons,
Robert A. of North Huntingdon and William Jr. of Homestead; two daughters,
Melissa Weathers and Michelle Arth, both of Penn; five brothers, Patrick,

Elmira Louise Jackson, 85, of North Versailles, died Sunday, July 23, 2000,
in The Cedars of Monroeville. She was born Oct. 30, 1914, in Latrobe, the
daughter of the late John and Petronilla Baratta Belviso. She was also
preceded in death by a brother, Charles Belviso, in 1994. She is survived by

Robert F. Jerome, 77, of Library, died Sunday, July 23, 2000.He was the
beloved husband of Dorothy (Schultz) Jerome. Mr. and Mrs. Jerome celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 4, 2000. In addition to his wife, Mr.
Jerome is survived by a daughter, Catherine A. Del Sardo and husband, Dennis,

Mrs. Ilse Hartmann Keehnle, 91, a resident of Washington, N.C., died Sunday,
July 23, 2000, at Beaufort County Hospital. Mrs. Keehnle was a very active
member of the Blind Center in Washington. Survivors include a son, Arthur S.
Keehnle of Washington; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

is survived by a sister, Etta Jean Furey; She was preceded in death by her
husband, Wilbert C. McCarroll; and a brother, James S. Wyllie.
Sue Miscovich, 44, of 106 King Ave., Marietta, Ohio, died at 7 a.m. Monday,
July 24, 2000, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born in
Bradenville, Oct. 19, 1955, to Michael and Irene Kondrich Kozar. In addition
to her parents of Bradenville, she is survived by her husband, Greg, whom she
married on Sept. 6, 1980; a daughter, Renee Miscovich of Marietta, Ohio; a
sister, Rita Burd and her husband, Lance, of Gettysburg; three brothers, Mike
Kozar and his wife, Peggy, of Russell, Pa., Richard Kozar and his wife,
Heidi, of Latrobe, and John Kozar of Gulfport, Miss.;

Myrtle B. Moffat, 95, of New Alexandria, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2000,
in IHS Mountain View Nursing Center, Unity Township. She was born July 12,
1905, in Larimer, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Nell Drylie Barner. In
addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, J. Collin
Moffat; a daughter, Audrey Moyer; sisters, Hazel and Eleanor; and brothers,
Howard, Wilbert, Roy and John. Survived by two sons, Mr. Donald Moffat and
wife, Marge, of Ligonier and Mr. Robert Moffat and wife, Betty, of Meridian,
Idaho; a sister, Mildred Johnson of Elyria, Ohio;
Carl B. Moll
Carl B. Moll, 93, of McCandless, died Saturday, July 22, 2000, in Orion Care,
Allison Park. He was born March 19, 1907, in Uttenweiler, Germany, son of the
late Franz Xavier Moll and Genevieve Moll. In addition to his parents, Mr.
Moll was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-five years, Catherine L.
Foryan Moll, who died on August 11, 1997. The Molls were married on June 29,
1932. Also preceded in death by five brothers and sisters, Elizabeth, Louise,
Franz, Albert and Otto.

Scottdale Manor Rehabilitation. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the MURPHY-CARUSO MEMORIAL HOME, 303 Pittsburgh St.,
Scottdale, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.

Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. He was born Jan. 29, 1922, in

addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula
Plundo; a sister, Clara Plundo; and a brother, Alfred Plundo. Survivors

daughter of the late Harry F. and Margaret E. Baltozer Sampson.In addition to
her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Frank Robbins,

Corrine E. Rosensteel, 76, of Ross, died Monday, July 24, 2000, in her home.
Born December 17, 1923 in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late James
Vincent Parey and Anna Gianfrancesco. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rosensteel; a sister, Dolores Parey;
and a brother, Robert Parey.

Fighting a battle against cancer that required spirit and determination, a
sense of humor, biting wit, boldness, acceptance, and a charming loving heart
for her family, the late Laura Gazze Stingl of Vienna, Austria, formerly of
Jeannette, died from the complications of cancer on Wednesday, June 7, 2000,
following a bone marrow transplant in Leipzig, Germany. She was the beloved
wife of Dr. Georg Stingl of Vienna, Austria. Laura was the daughter of the
late George and Inez Vezzetti Gazze of Jeannette.
