Donna and List:

Don't take every action or reaction by other list members as a personal affront
to you. In this case, did it ever occur to you that the person may have had
some kind of computer failure that made it impossible for him to acknowledge
your e-mail. He may not even have received it.

There is no excuse for people to whine that they are not in the area in which
they are researching. Every area has library facilities available. The Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has facilities throughout the United States
and the world. These facilities are open free to the public and one does not
have to be a "Mormon" to use them. There are 39 in the state of North Carolina.
To find the nearest one go to:

http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHC/frameset_fhc.asp

and follow the directions.

Most counties in Pennsylvania have Historical and Genealogical
Societies/Libraries that will provide information for a fee. The address that I
have for the Westmoreland Co. Historical Society is:

Westmoreland County Historical Society
951 Old Salem Road
Greensburg Garden & Civic Center
Greensburg, PA 15601

Check with the local public library about "Interlibrary Loan" services. This
service allows the patron to order books/materials that are not available
locally.

Sharing is more than "I ask questions and you do the research and give me the
answers".

I live in Mesa, Arizona and my research is 99.99% for Pennsylvania and 0% for
Arizona and I do it using the above facilities.

Good Luck in your search.
