DIED -- MENOHER -- In Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County, on Friday,
March 21, 1879, Mr. James Menoher, aged about 70 years.

Mr. James Menoher, of West Fairfield Township, Westmoreland County, died
suddenly of heart disease on Friday last. He was an uncle of Mr. Samuel
Menoher and Dr. L. T. Beam, of this place. Dr. W. C. Beam, of Spruce Creek,
Huntingdon County, also a nephew of deceased, stopped off in this place on
Saturday evening, on his way to attend the funeral, which took place at
Ligonier yesterday afternoon.

with an attack of quinsy.
Remains of Benjamin C. Porter passed through the city.
