Hi all,

I came across an article in our local paper last evening. Westmoreland
County has put on-line many courthouse records to search through. Visit
http://www.co.westmoreland.pa.us/

Click on e-Services.

It looks it will be a valuable research tool.

Available data to search:

1 - Tax Assessment Real Property Limited information from the current tax
duplicate All current tax year data plus changes subsequent to the issuance
of the duplicate
2 - Prothonotary Civil Court All civil court docketed records from 1985 to
present All imaged documents from 2002 forward
3 - Register of Wills Marriage From 1906 to present (I did a search and
found a record from 1896 listed - it doesn't give much information other
than the couples names and the date of the wedding and what marriage book
it's in)
4 - Register of Wills Estate From 1986 to present
