Definitely sounds "fishy"...I'm with Donna...if you don't like it, don't
read it. People pay an extortionist's fee to have their loved ones buried
with the expectation that the site will be properly cared for. If this is
not being done, then fines should be levied (put into a public trust for
upkeep or improvements). Almost sounds like fraud!!!! Keep on
them--remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease!!

Also a note of thanks to those who care for the cemeteries where my
ancestors are buried (Belle Vernon, Grandview, Monongahela, and MonValley
{in Donora})...I have never found these cemeteries to be neglected and the
staff has always been courteous and helpful when I have contacted them on
behalf of my research. As a matter of fact, when I was at MonValley for my
grandmother's burial several years ago, I discovered that my infant cousin's
marker had "sunk", and could not find it. I contacted the office, and they
went out and located it, retrieved it, and re-set it in the proper place (it
was actually set on the wrong grave), and sent a letter to let me
know--actually apologizing for the error! I really commend them for their
actions.
