When you say Herrick, are you referring to Herrick Center? If so that is in
the lower east part of Susquehanna County. By car I'd say it's about 40
minutes or more from Tunkhannock (No fast straight route.......Tunk. is in
Wyoming County). As for Lynn, I'd say it's about 10-15 minutes from
Tunkhannock (Lynn is in the lower westernly corner of Susq. County). You can
get to Lynn by taking Rt. 29 North from Tunkhannock and turning left at Lake
Walter. This is the Lynn four corners you come to. Lynn also falls just
over the border into Susquehanna County. So you would do your searching for
these towns at the Susquehanna County Courthouse located in Montrose. Right
across the Green from the Courthouse is the Historical Society (located above
the Library).
