Judy,
Thank you for all the info. It sure clears up several things for me. But
there is one problem too.
George Warren Sickler b.21 Oct 1833 d.13 Feb 1922 m. 5 Feb 1853 Lydia Ann
Covey b. 28 Nov 1828 d. 5 Jul 1891.
Children:
1 Lydia Amelia 1853-1950 m. 1878 Jacob Martin Sherwood 1848-1913. They lived
in Jermyn. They took my father (son of Frank and Mary Van Duzer, no. 6 below)
and raised him from a baby. I was born in their house in Jermyn in 1922 and
given the Sherwood surname. Although my father was never adopted he always
went by the name of Stanley Martin Sherwood.
2 Olive C 1855-1882 bur. in Greenwood Cemetery in Falls Twp. She m. Mr Lord
and had daughter, Ethel W Lord b.1881. Your Capwell Book states Ethel's
mother as Lydia Ann Sickler. This has to be checked out further.
3 Sarah Elizabeth 1857-1895 m. Jacob Depew
4 Rolandis Warren 1859-1930 (changed his name to Joseph)
5 Charles H 1861-1931
6 Mary Millicent 1863-1910 m. Frank Van Duzer. My real grandparents.
7 Delight b.1865-1887
8 Francis Herbert 1869-1952
9 Casper W 1871-1873
Judy, at this time I don't think the Capwell reprint will help me any since I
have no direct Capwell relatives. When I was younger I bought many books. But
now there is enough info on line to keep me busy. Thanks for letting me know
about the reprints coming up.
<<There is also a write up of Richard, Andrew and Diana if you want that, let
me know.>>
Yes Judy, I would like the above write up if it isn't too much trouble.
Later,
Fred
