We are in the process of compiling information about the history of Fitch
Cemetery located in Wyoming County at Fitch Corner's on Rte. 292. There are
no records for the cemetery prior to the 1960's, so any information anyone
can provide would really be appreciated. In compiling information, we are
finding many of the people are in some way related. We welcome lineage
information to help researchers link families. It would be very interesting
to find out information about who was the founder of the cemetery. Such as
was it the Fitch Family cemetery and then expanded to others?

The information we compile will be given to the chairman of Fitch Cemetery
and the Wyoming County Historical Society, who in turn can provide it to
other genealogists, who are researching their ancestors in the cemetery. We
will gladly share what we learn with others. Thank you in advance for any
help you can provide.
