The Reverend Richard J. CURNOW (1875-1938), my grandfather, was pastor
of the Presbyterian Church at Meshoppen and Mehoopany during 1911-1915.
Throughout his career (1909-1938) he kept a journal of significant
events during his pastorate. He used a leather bound ledger book for
the purpose, and it is organized into sections covering Sunday services,
midweek vespers, marriages, baptisms, deaths, and so forth.

Information from my grandfather's journal could be of interest to family
historians seeking vital information on people who lived at or near
Meshoppen and Mehoopany during the years when he was there. Therefore,
I have transcribed information that he recorded on marriages, baptisms,
and deaths occurring during his Wyoming County pastorate. The files
don't lend themselves to posting to this list, but I would be happy to
do look-ups for anybody.
