August 1 went on roads review over in Washington Twp

2 fixed some on roads Sold Pine lumber to Reynolds Bros. of Factoryville for 16M

3 went to Factoryville with load of Lumber

Aug 11 to day Margaret Hall is 18 years old Amnt of lumber hauled to Factoryville 5,602 x 16/ 89.63

12 worked in Oats opened ditch back of corn house

13 finished Oats

14 went to Auburn to see D. Jayne + wife

15 At Dan Jaynes

16 " " to dinner with Mr Brutman

27 cut wood all day in wood 22 degrees below freezing

28 Thanksgiving Dinner at Church East Lemon wife + I went some snow but cold 12 degrees above zero

29 threashed wheat + Oats Snowed till noon 20 wheat 78 1/2 Oats

30 cut stalks till 3pm

Dec 1 the 1901 Sunday took dinner with Louisa Shupp warm day

2 at home went to Tunk John B Shupp sold out by Sherriff

3 snowed all day at home recd for onions of Annina Trusky 1.00

4 at home went to E Lemon Recd of Harmon Ball int on note one year + half nine dollars 9.00

Dec 5 the 1901 Ladies aid met with Mrs J.E. Wagner

6 at home Guy drawed wood all day good sleighing 11 D. B zero

7 Grangers annual feast at E.L. M. E. Church fine day + large turn out 250 took dinner

9 went to Tunk with wife + I paid School taxes $6.12

10 at home cut wood all day Snow all gone ground bare in one night recd three D of Hatfield 3.00

11 at home went over to Lake wynola took dinner with Lewes Trawger from there to Mort Trutsky staid all night

12 at Truskys from there to I.J. Meahorrs stayed all night

13 at Meahorns come ome by way of factoryville nice day

26 threshed rye + sold seed potaoes 40 cent per bu 4.00 it was not a green xmas 3 in of snow

Dec 28 went to Factoryville Sold Beef to Huffsmith took dinner with O N Stark attended stock meeting at the Grange

29 Sunday at home

30 At hom all day Lulu Shupp here to work for Maggie

31 went to Tunkhannock Co Institute very nice day warm this closes the last day of the year 1901 December 31 Cold with Blizzard
Finance of the year 1902 we find note + cash all told twenty four hundred and twenty five dollars at close of 1901
