Greetings to all,

Apparently I used the wrong form to send this to the group via the
Pease-L list so I'm sending it again. If you got it despite the "error
of my ways", okay; otherwise, here is a copy of what I tried to send

To any who have an interest, I trolled the 1870 census of Placer
County, California, looking for Pease surnames that I may have missed in
prior searches. I had a nice zoom lens but I only picked up one
additional name and still no John Marchant Pease in Gold Run or any of
the neighboring sites on record. He must have been "missed" in the
count. Here is the addition:

1870 Census Placer Co CA 19 Aug Twp #5 P.O. Bath, p. 9, line 11:
103/91 Pease, George H.* 39 mw miner 2000 Maine
[George H.* - Jonathan George Huntoon Pease s/o Norton P^7Aaron^6 etc.
