In the first two Pease genealogies:

1.1.8.4.6 Robert, son of Jonathan (Nathaniel, Robert, Robert) and Sarah (Blake) Pease; bpt. Dec 29, 1751 in Salem, MA; m. Apr 12, 1778 in Salem, Hannah Woodman. There is no further record of this family.

Thanks to the NEHGS and it's magazine New England Ancestors, a web site lists mariners who were issued seaman's protection papers, to protect them from being impressed into the British Navy during the 1800s

After a search for Smith.......just kidding...Pease of course, I found Robert Pease age 44 who was issued papers on Aug 12, 1825 at Salem, MA certificate # 8307. He was born in Salem, MA. So let's say he was born in 1781.

In my unnatached Pease chapter:
1 Robert Pease; m. Dec 16, 1801 at the North Church in Salem, MA, Letitia (Latty) Clough; b. Nov 14, 1778; d. Jan 06, 1853 as a widow in Salem. She was the daughter of __etison and Lois Clough. Children of Robert and Letitia (Clough) born in Salem, Massachusetts:

1.2 Samuel W. b. Nov 26, 1818 d. Oct 17, 1899 Salem, MA

1.1 George W.; b. Apr 06, 1814; d. Oct 06, 1890 from cancer of the liver in Salem; m. Jun 08, 1842 in Salem, Sarah Beckford Henderson; d. Jun 23, 1849; age 32 of consumption in Salem. She was the daughter of Samuel and Betsey (Smith) Henderson, who were married Apr 25, 1802 in Salem. George was a newspaper editor for the Salem Observer after completing his apprenticeship Jan 07, 1837. The firm was known as Pease and Ives. Children of George W. and Sarah (Henderson) Pease:

She was the daughter of Joshua Loring; b. in Higham, MA, and Sarah Woodbury; b. in Gloucester, MA One child of George W. and Caroline (Loring) Pease born in Salem, MA:



1.1.4 Helen L. Pease; b. Jul 13, 1852; m. Oct 18, 1876 in Salem, Charles F. Pousland; age 26; b. in Salem. He was a clerk, and the son of George W. and Elizabeth C. (Felton) Pousland, who were married May 06, 1836 in Salem.



1.2 Samuel W.; b. Nov 26, 1818 in Salem, MA; d. Oct 17, 1899 in Salem; m. Jan 23, 1845 in Salem, MA, Caroline E. Hogan; b. Oct 07, 1819; d. May 03, 1901 in Salem. She was the daughter of William and Mary Hogan. Samuel was a tin plater, and stove dealer. Children of Samuel and Caroline E. (Hogan) Pease born in Salem, MA:
