Hello, I am looking for information about the Georiga Pevy, or Peavy family. My Grangfather was Peary Edward Pevy. Like his father he was from Georiga, from what I can tell around Ray City, Ga. He was born in 1891, and died in April, of 1960,
In Duval County, Jacksonville, Flroida. From old family stories state that Peary Pevy's father changed the spelling to Pevy, from Peavy after he got into some trouble in Ga, and fled to Florida.
