If anyone on the list has access to P.E.I.G.S.'s Cemetery
Transcriptions for West Devon, Lot 10, Cem. 1 and 2, I would be very
grateful for a lookup to confirm my suspicions! This is what I have:

The cemetery section of the MNI lists the following:
PIO Edward A. Chappell/ 1903 - 1960/ RCNVR/ Lest We Forget
West Devon United Church/Bible Christian Cemetery, Lot 10,
Cem. 1, Stone 126

While a general entry on the MNI reads:
Chappell, Edward Allan, West Devon
death Aug 19, 1968 <=======
Beach Grove, 64-10-15 <=======
Informant Beach Grove Recs.
Bur. West Devon Cem.
Card from Cutcliffe Funeral Home

I think that these two entries are in reality for the same person,
and suspect that the death date on the MNI general entry contains
a typo and should actually read 'Aug 19, 1960' not '1968'.
If anyone could even confirm that the line 'Beach Grove, 64-10-15' is
referencing a date, it would be helpful, as it would have been tough
to notify of the death *before* it occurred. <smile>
