Hi all!
I'm wondering if anyone is working on either the Redmond or Charlton
families? In doing my research on the Reddin family, I've come across some
contradictory info.

Specifically, there is a baptismal record for a Mary Frances Angelina
Reddin, daughter of Daniel Reddin and Suzan Charlton, baptized 6 Jan. 1879
at St. Dunstan's in Charlottetown. Having no Daniel Reddin that fit as
father of this child, I checked the records for marriages licenses, which
show a Daniel Redmond married a Susanna Charlton on 30 Jan 1865. I suspect
the latter record is correct - that Daniel was a Redmond - but found it
curious that the priest would twice write down this family as Reddin, in
the baptismal record.

Does anyone have said Daniel or Susan in their files? Perhaps this is a
lesson to us all to double check even original source documents?! [ I took
the above from the microfilms, not relying on transcriptions.] Thx. Aggi-Rose
