The message about Nat's success with the Musick line makes me want to try
again to find out something -- anything -- about Malcolm Mc/acLeod, my
great-great- grandfather. He died in 1867, age 71 and is buried at St.
John's, Belfast. His farm was in Melville. He married Christina Beaton
(1801-1864) and their children were Angus (married Jessie McKenzie), Malcolm,
Margaret (married Baker) and Mary (married Alexander McKenzie[Jessie's
brother]). I cannot find him in the MacLeod book and I have no idea who his
parents were or whether he had any siblings. I know that Christina came on
the Polly, with her parents and grandparents but do not know whether Malcolm
did. I hope that someone will recognize this line and have some info --
