Date: Tue, 19 Feb 2002 18:22:06 -0500

Hello everyone

I'd like to announce the start of 3 new mailing lists.

These lists will be of interest to anyone with ancestors in NY
(and other locations) who were of the following groups:

*** HUGUENOT-WALLOON. ***

A mailing list for anyone with a genealogical interest in the
French Huguenots and Belgium Walloons who fled to the West
Indies, the Netherlands, and the United States in the 17th
century.

To subscribe send "subscribe" to

(mail mode) or

(digest mode).

Also see my pages at http://olivetreegenealogy.com/hug/

Select DEFINITIONS if you aren't sure what a Walloon is :-)

*** MENNONITE. ***

A mailing list for anyone with a genealogical interest in the
Swiss Mennonites (Anabaptists) who emigrated to North America.

To subscribe send "subscribe" to

(mail mode)
or

(digest mode).

Also see my pages at http://olivetreegenealogy.com/menn/

*** PALATINE. ***

A mailing list for anyone with a genealogical interest in the
German Palatinate and Palatine refugees who came to Ireland and
North America.

To subscribe send "subscribe" to

(mail mode)

or

(digest mode).

Also see my pages at http://olivetreegenealogy.com/pal/

Please feel free to pass this message on to anyone you think
might be interested.

If you are forwarding it to a mail list, feel free to remove
the
list names that would not be of interest.

For e.g. if you are forwarding the message to a mailing list
about Germans to N. America, you should remove the Mennonite
and
Huguenot-Walloon information. :-)

Enjoy and hope to see you on the lists!
