I am so glad you responded. We may have a connection, at least it looks good
so far. My first information about the Penningtons listed my Abel Lane as
the son of William Pennington, but I spoke with a PRA researcher recently who
said that it was more likely that he was the son of Abel Jr., son of Able Sr.
Your Able Jr., would have been the right age to be the father of my Able
Lane. And the fact that Betsy named her child Rebecca Lane seems important
to me, too. I'm sure you noticed that Taladega County was mentioned several
times in my line. I am encouraged by all this and to answer your question,
yes, please send more information.

I met a woman a year or so ago who was researching the Poole/Pennington
family. Her name will not come to me at the moment, but I have it written
down somewhere and I know I can locate her again. I want to show her your
note and see if she has any information that would help you.
