I too have only recently discovered "Penningtons On Line".
Ain't it great? I'm in the process of sending in my $23.00 so
that I can be an official Pennington.

You made an inquiry about Craig Pennington and wife Mary Wynn
Orr. Craig was a member of Group #7 and you can find out LOTS
about that line in _Pennington Pedigrees... IF you send in your
$23.00. I happened to run across a copy in the public library
but am anxious to get my own.

Here's what I have on Craig -
Son of John Dess Pennington b. 10/5/1802 Lee Co, VA
d. 12/29/1891 Green Co., and Rachel Zion
b. 1/22/1807, d. 6/15/1885
Grandson of Edward of Lee Co, VA and wife Martha
Siblings of Craig - Avalina, Elizabeth, Lucy Ann,
Martha Jane, Zion, Rebecca, Mary, John B.,
Phoebe.

John B. was my great-grandfather :-)

According to Pennington Pedigrees, Pennington Gap, VA was named
for Edward.
