Hi, cousins,

One of the participants on the WIGTON-WALKER email discussion list has
posted a picture of the Kilgore Fort on his webpage at
http://home.att.net/~wwalker-mailman/JKilgore_Fort4.jpg. You might recall
that I had forwarded a message about this site and the current danger that
it is facing from someone who is seeking private ownership of this last
surviving example of its type. The reason the members of this list might
be interested (besides the fact that we're all interested in history and
our heritage) is that some of our ancestors helped defend a similar outpost
before and during the American Revolution at Ft. Osborne. The website
author who took the picture has granted permission for all to download and
