Janet,

I'm new to this system and hope that it can provide some leads concerning
my Pennington line. Several day's ago I posted an inquiry about my
Penningtons who also lived in Johnson County, Kentucky.

Henry Pennington is my g.g.grandfather. He lived in Johnson County as
early as the 1850's. He had a son David (my g.father) that I think was
born in Johnson County in about 1858. He had a son Claiborn Pennington.
However, I believe Claiborn died in Ohio, perhaps, Cincinnati. I'm not
sure. Although I was born and grew up in Kentucky (Wolfe County), I never
knew my Pennington relatives.

Claiborn wasn't a common given name in this neck of the woods. Could there
be a connection?
