Hello Tom in Muncie,
I am a new member in the PRA (group IV) and have done some research
, mostly at the Mormon Family Center in San Diego.

Richard Pennington was born 4/11/1809 in Barren County, Kentucky. He
died 2/4/1891 in Daly Community, Houston County, Texas. He married
Polly Walling and they has 7 children.

One of their children was James Lawson Pennington my Great Grand
Father.

If you have a Mormon Family Center close by I would suggest you go
for a visit. They have wonderful facilities and information.
